The 7th Annual Conference on Integrated Computing and STEM Education provides a forum for K–14 STEM teachers, researchers, educators, policy makers and industrial partners to share their experiences, best practices, and ideas, and thereby influence the future direction of integrated computing and STEM education.
The theme of this year’s conference is Learning Through Doing: Join the Maker Revolution, with an emphasis on computing, robotics, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino for hands-on learning math/science and maker movement. Integrate coding, making, and robotics into core academics to achieve 100% math proficiency for your students.
We have more than 160 registered participants attending the conference.
Call for Presentation Proposals and Presenters
You can submit a Conference Presentation Proposal here or by clicking on the “2017 Conference Presentation Proposal on the left. You can also contact us for presentation in the breakout sessions.
The Lead presenter will have his/her registration fee for the conference waived.

Call for Award Nominations
Nominations are currently being accepted for four C-STEM Education Awards, to be presented at the conference on November 4th.
UCD Dean of College of Engineering Jennifer Curtis, Tom Adams, Deputy Superintendent of California Department of Education, Senator Bill Dodd will present award certificates to C-STEM Teacher of the Year, Administrator of the Year, School of the Year, and C-STEM Service Awards on behalf of UC Davis C-STEM, Office of California State Superintendent of Public Instruction, California Legislature.

In keynote and plenary speeches, learn from the Founder of Maker Movement on the current trend and future direction of Maker Movement. Learn from a district leader on how computing and robotics are used to close the math achievement gap for struggling students in middle schools in a school district. Additionally, learn from a math and robotics instructor about achieving 100% math proficiency in the classroom and hear a student perspective on how the C-STEM program guided aspirations for a future in STEM.
Breakout Sessions
Many hands-on breakout sessions are designed for Learning through doing. Learn from experienced C-STEM teachers to share their experience on how to integrate computing and robotics (Linkbot and Lego Mindstorms NXT/EV3), Raspberry Pi, and Arduino into their STEM classes. Bring your own laptop of Windows or Mac OS X to join many hands-on sessions to learn, and take the latest technologies, curriculum, know-how, and excitement to your classroom teaching and making.
