C-STEM is proud to work with volunteers from many different backgrounds – industry partners, engineers, scientists, graduate students, undergraduates, and just about anybody who is interested in teaching or helping K-14 students learn computing and STEM subjects. Our program thrives on the enthusiastic volunteering help we get, and we would like to thank all past, present, and future volunteers.
All C-STEM volunteers will have the opportunity to work with K-14 students by being a mentor and providing students with the best opportunities to develop their passion for STEM subjects. Our volunteers will find that teaching and working with tomorrow’s bright minds is both rewarding and refreshing. Many of the volunteers remember their past experiences as an aspiring engineer, scientist, teacher, programmer, or general STEM enthusiast and are thrilled about being able to contribute to the success of our C-STEM youth.
There are many different roles for volunteers at C-STEM, so you can be involved whether you have a thing for robots, can’t get enough algebra, love teaching, or just like helping students out in the community. If you would like to contribute to the C-STEM program, please visit the links Volunteering at Roboplay Challenge Competition and Volunteering in Schools to learn more about how you can get started. We are excited to have you on our team!
