C-STEM Summer Professional Development
C-STEM is a UC-Approved Educational Preparation Program for Undergraduate Admission for both K-12 and Community College Students to all UC Campuses. Participation in the C-STEM Program, C-STEM student individual and team awards, and extracurricular activities are all recognized in the UC admissions process as achievements that have explicitly prepared students for college and careers.
This intensive 1-Week Institute is designed to provide professional development for K-14 teachers on the principles of robotics, coding, and physical computing with Arduino and robotics, and how to integrate them into STEM classes. Teachers learn computer programming, computational thinking, and problem-solving with coding using freely available C-STEM Studio, RoboBlockly, and Ch Arduino.
This PD is great for all teachers new to coding and robotics and math, science, robotics, and CTE teachers.
This 1-Week Workshop on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Robot Sensors provides professional development for K-14 teachers on electronics, sensors, and physical computing. Teachers will learn how to use advanced do-it-yourself electronics and robot sensors to create dynamic robotic systems.
This PD is geared for all teachers, especially science, robotics, and CTE teachers, who are ready to take coding and robotics to the next level.
