C-STEM Center Hosts Washington Unified School District STEM Camp

On Thursday June 16th, the UC Davis K-14 Outreach Center for Computing and STEM Education (C-STEM) hosted a group of middle school students from WUSD Project Lead The Way’s (PLTW) Gateway Academy summer camp which is a joint program between PLTW and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation (SME-EF). The camp offered the students a week-long summertime experience in programming, building robots, designing eco-friendly jewelry and launching rockets. The C-STEM Center demonstrated the iMobot to the camp.
