11/20/2013, C-STEM at the 1st California STEM Symposium in Sacramento


C-STEM has participated at the first California STEM Symposium in Sacramento. The symposium is well attended by over 2,000 STEM educators, researchers, professionals, and industrial representatives, and policy makers. C-STEM Center Director Harry H. Cheng along with C-STEM teachers Clay Dagler and Maria Aguilar made a presentation in a 60-minutes session on Integrated Computing and STEM Education in the 21st Century.

C-STEM is one of Share-Fair participants, organized by the CTE/ICT program of the California Department of Education, to showcase  how computing and robotics are integrated into formal and informal STEM programs.
