Middle school students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in 18 classes in Cincinnati taking part in a Straight-A project, funded by Ohio Department of Education, had higher math achievement scores after just one semester of using the UC Davis C-STEM Math-ICT Curriculum. Leslie Silbernagel, curriculum supervisor for the Northwest Local School District, and Zach Phelps, District Data Coach,  shared their team’s success story through a recent podcast on TheFlypod.com Media Network.
The C-STEM Center congratulates Leslie and her team’s exemplary work in helping students succeed in learning math.
